Kay Clancy

Senior Executive Coach, Transformation Leader, Wellbeing Consultant

Kay hails from the UK with a career spanning 30 years in financial services and has held senior leadership roles at MLC Life Insurance, Kinetic Superannuation, Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, CGU, Barclays Bank and The Woolwich. Her consulting career, experience and passion is leadership, culture and transformation with clients across the public and private sector including ANZ Bank, Barclays Bank, Melbourne University, Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees and Australian Financial Complaints Authority.  Her work on culture encompasses all areas of behavioural change with a focus on the cultural and human impacts of behaviour.  Kay is an executive coach supporting C-Suite executives and senior leaders to address performance challenges, meet development needs and understand  and manage their impact through conscious, intentional leadership.  Kay has developed a coaching program to build coaching capability across organisations.


Kay has designed and delivered programs on the prevention of workplace behavioural issues, culture and values, bullying, domestic and family violence, unconscious bias, mental health issue management, communication, well-being and resilience as well as working with executive teams to design and deliver interventions to set strategy, build excellence and improve performance.   A qualified Mental Health First Aid instructor Kay is passionate about building strength in well-being programs to take a holistic approach encompassing both physical and mental well-being as a foundation of organisational culture.


Kay’s background and experience operating in executive roles across the public and private sector position her to understand the operational challenge for organisations and for leadership tension from both a behavioural and delivery perspective. Her ability to recognise and appreciate competing demands and the impacts these have on the executive psyche,  leadership style and the implications on the organisation, coupled with a wide range of transformation and coaching skills, ensure that each assignment is tailored to the individual and organisational needs delivering demonstrable and sustainable change.
